HALF SPOON BIT MULLEN MOUTH
Stainless Steel. Sometimes referred to as a “half cheek” snaffle, this model is popular in harness racing.
The spoons hang below the mouthpiece to prevent the bit being pulled through the horse’s mouth and their position means that they are less likely to get caught up in the mouth or reins. The mullen mouth does not offer the nutcracker action/ palate pressure of the jointed mouth model.
